Find Your Inspiration

Are you struggling to open up to really dreaming and imagining?

As children dreaming and imagining came easy. As adults it has been taught out of us. We may have a thought or a dream but we don’t expand on the idea or take it seriously. Sometimes you need a little help dreaming and imagining.

Inspiration awakens you to new ideas and new possibilities. Inspiration is what assists you from taking an impractical crazy thought and finding a way to make it possible.

Inspiration facilitates progress and moves you forward towards a goal or dream. It facilitates an action step that will help create the dream. It is a kind of change in perspective.

Inspiration is the doorway to the path of making the impossible possible. It often shows you a way around or through an obstacle that you can’t find a solution to.

Often inspiration happens when our mind is at rest after extensive research, thinking and giving up on finding a solution.

How many times have you heard the saying that “The idea came to me in the shower!” Or when I was gardening or exercising. These activities shift our mind from focusing on the problem but our unconscious mind continues working on it. It’s what is often referred to as the “ah-ha moment”

Looking for your inspiration points will help. Knowing what inspires you will not only help you when you want to pull out your true heart felt dreams but will help you as you move forward envisioning and creating your dreams into your reality.

Inspiration often evolves spontaneously without intention but we can open the door to receive inspiration.

Breakthrough ideas happen during times of mental relaxation or even despair after you have exhausted all possibilities or after you have given up.

Information including your dreams need time to marinate and blend with heart wisdom for something new and extraordinary to happen.

So spend time daydreaming and imagining but then take break from thinking about your dream, situation, problem or whatever it is you are trying to figure out. Meditate, relax, doodle, wash dishes or take a shower.

Activities that can help inspiration arise include singing in the shower, gardening, exercise, reading, journal writing, listening to music, and doing some creative art project.

Being outside in nature, changing your routine, stepping outside your comfort zone, trying something new or learning something new. People can inspire you. All these activities will shift your brain into being open to inspiration.

Inspiration is everywhere and anywhere.

What inspires you?

What makes you feel inspired?

Where do you feel the most inspired?

What activities help you be inspired?

Who inspires you? Why do the inspire you?

For me the answer is easy- anywhere I can see the ocean is inspiring. The ocean is my muse. When I want to be inspired I look at the ocean.

Finding your inspiration points and places will help you as you move forward into creating and manifesting your dreams.

Be Inspired-Be Inspiring
