Upside-Down Bucket List

Do you have a bucket list of things you want to do? Having a bucket list is a great idea. Having things to work towards and goals and things we want to enjoy in our life time.

Do you just keep looking forward wishing to be able to do more? So you keep adding things to your bucket list and feel like you are not accomplishing any of it?

But do you ever think back on what you have already accomplished?

What have you already accomplished that you’re proud of?

You should keep an upside-down bucket list as well. A list of all the things you have already accomplished in your life. Things that have made you who you are, that have moved you forward, that have changed your life, or just made you feel good. It’s the exact opposite of a regular bucket list–and it’s an encouraging exercise

Write down a list of all the things you’ve already accomplished, things that make you feel proud. Include both the big and the small goals you’ve accomplished, trips you’ve taken, activities you tried, things you learned.

The things you have accomplished already help you feel confident, positive, and feeling good about yourself and your life. It gives you a solid foundation to believe in yourself, in your capabilities to continue on into new dreams and new bucket list items.

Acknowledging all the things you have accomplished can make you happier and grateful.
