Cold weather doesn’t mean you can’t go out and take a walk.
But with the right clothing and preparation, and layering helps keep you stay warm and walking in cold weather possible.
- Dress in layers. Multiple light layers can help keep your body insulated while allowing heat to circulate throughout your body without overheating.
- Choose comfortable and warm footwear, whether it is sneakers or boots, make sure they keep your feet warm and wear good socks as well.
- Cover your hands and ears. Grab a scarf.
- Wear bright colors.
