Christmas Meals

Traditional Christmas meals occur on Christmas Eve as well as Christmas Day.

Sometimes a traditional Christmas dinner is very similar to Thanksgiving dinner. Growing up this was the case in our house. Turkey was once again center stage on Christmas Day.

Turkey, Ham and Prime Rib are the most popular main dishes for Christmas. What it your family’s traditional Christmas Dinner?

The actual meal consumed varies in different parts of the world with regional cuisines and local traditions. Is there a dish that you would like to include this year for your holiday meal?

Christmas Eve dinner is sometimes as important in our traditions as Christmas dinner. For many Italian food or Seafood is focus of a traditional Christmas Eve dinner.

Christmas Eve was dinner out in a restaurant. Sometimes we went to Ken’s Steak House and more often than not, Christmas Eve was at an Italian restaurant.

Italian food was a big part of our Christmas Eve dinner. For me it was the part of Christmas I looked forward to the most. It was our main Christmas meal even though we also had a big Christmas dinner on Christmas Day.

Maybe your main Christmas meal is actually something other than dinner on Christmas Day. Many families have a huge Christmas Brunch for their main holiday meal tradition.
