Enjoy a Good Mystery

We are fascinated by Mystery.

Mystery is engaging, thought provoking, and keeps you cognitively challenged.

Reading a mystery makes you concentrate on details, makes you contemplate and thing deeply, and often introduces new concepts and words. A good mystery engages the power of critical thinking skills and promotes problem solving.

Mysteries provide puzzles to work through, like an obstacle course for your brain.

When was the last time you read a good mystery? What was it? Why did you enjoy it?

What was your favorite mystery book (series) as a child?

As a kid, I loved reading Nancy Drew. In fact, I still enjoy rereading one once in a while. My mom read Perry Mason so sometimes I would read one of her books.

Do you have a favorite mystery writer? Agatha Christie, Steven King, John Grisham, Dean Koontz, Mary Higgins Clark or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle?

Isn’t it time you engaged your mind in a good mystery?
