The Wizard of Oz
When was the last time you watched or read The Wonderful Wizard of Oz?
Dorothy is swept away from her home in Kansas to the magical Land of Oz in a tornado and embarks on a quest with her new friends to see the Wizard. She is told and believes that the Wizard is the only one who can help her get home.
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is all about self-sufficiency. The Scarecrow, Tin Woodman, and Cowardly Lion all seek external magic to give them qualities they already possess but fail to recognize.
We often find ourselves seeking an external magic to create something we desire not realizing we have the capabilities to create our dreams come true ourselves.
We are waiting for the right moment, or the dream to manifest in the way we envision it. Sometimes we are actually living our dream in pieces or in a different form than we imagined it.
Other times because we think it will take some magical miracle to make it happen we don’t even take action or make choices that will guide us or lead us towards it.
Often we think we are not capable of learning what we need to know or have the time to pursue it. We think we are too old (or too young) or we don’t have the resources financial or otherwise, we don’t know the right people or have the right connections.
Yet we do have within us to pursue our dreams and desires. You have magical powers of your own within you. It maybe that you are knowledgeable on a certain subject, or creative.
You have the courage, the heart and the brains. You don’t need an outside source of magic. You just need to use your own magic within you that you possess.
You just need to click your own personal ruby red shoes and your desire will happen.
Clicking your ruby red magical shoes means taking the steps, taking action towards your dream, desire, and wish. Believe in yourself and your courage, heart and mind and go forward with faith.
You are your own Wizard. You can create your own magical life.
