Learning to Fall

Learning to Fall

Falling is a part of life.

A toddler learning to walk falls down and gets up over and over again until they learn to stand on their own and walk. It is one of the first lesson of life. We learn that falling is just the process of learning to walk.

Life is a series of learning to walk.  Sometimes we get it the first time, but sometimes we fall down or fail.

In order to master and succeed in life you must be comfortable with falling down.

The fears we develop over time make us become uncomfortable with falling. When we are uncomfortable with falling we hold ourselves back from trying something new or learning something new.

Not falling in life doesn’t make our life better or perfect. It is in the process of trying falling and falling until we either succeed or concede that it just isn’t right for us that makes life better.

Life is always imperfectly perfect.

Learn to master your fear of falling.

Practice falling – Trust in your ability to get back up and try again, and at least give it your best try.

Each fall gives you guidance and clues as how to take the next step.
