Assess Your Day

 Assess Your Day

How you spend your day has an impact on your well-being. In the midst of responsibilities you don’t often think about how rushing around without taking care of your own needs is impacting your days, your relationships, your emotions, your body, your energy, your moods, and yourself.  It most often is actually hindering you from accomplishing your goals, dreams and even your daily responsibilities.

What is your daily schedule like?

What do you like about your day? What do you dislike about your day?

What time of day do you have the most energy? What gives you energy? What fuels you?

What time of day do you have the least amount of energy? What drains you?

How can you balance your day or include an action that will fuel you when you need it?

Think about the activities you like to do and those that provide you with energy and inspire you. Make a list of activities you would love to do for yourself and/or make you happy.

Make time for one of them each day if possible but definitely one per week.

Pick a self-care or self-nurturing activity off your list above that you have been wanting to do for yourself but keep putting off. Pick a day of the week and do it! No putting it off, no procrastinating?

What activity do you wish you had time to do? What day can you choose to do a self-care/self-nurturing activity?  Pick a time and schedule it. And stick to your schedule!
