Did you ever write a letter to Santa when you were a kid? Do you remember what you wrote? Did you get a response? Did you get what you asked for, for Christmas?
Perhaps you sat down with a plate of cookies, a glass of milk, and your wish list. With a fresh piece of paper and favorite pen, you compose a letter to the Santa. Maybe you asked for a bicycle, new doll, or, like me, a stack of books. When you were done, you addressed it to Santa Claus at the North Pole, slapped a Christmas stamp on it, and ran to the nearest mailbox.
With child-like exuberance you hoped some of your holiday wishes would come true. The history of sending Santa Claus letters spans over 150 years in the United States. You may not be a child anymore but it is a fun way to reflect and figure out what you want for the New Year. You can focus on writing just what you want for Christmas, what your Christmas wish is.

You can write to manifest goals and dreams that you want to make come true.
To have some fun when you’re writing your letter, make the gift list as long as you want, really treat yourself in the list you write. Even draw a picture of what you want.
This year if you haven’t done it in a while take a moment and write your letter to Santa. Tell him what you are hoping for on Christmas morning. Writing it down is part of making it real.
