Mazes

Have you ever been to a hay bale maze or corn stalk maze or hedges?

A maze is a collection of paths from entrance to a goal or exit. There are often many dead end paths and the solution is to find your way through to the goal or exit. The idea is to get lost a few times before figuring out the environment and finding your way.

Mazes transform spaces into whimsical, challenging pathways that temporarily change our relationship with the built world.

Our life path often looks like a maze. We can often feel like we are lost in the maze turning down dead end paths.

We start heading in one direction only to get turned around and head onto another path.

We often aren’t sure if we are going in the right direction but eventually life either turns us around or we hit a dead end.

We can look at all the dead ends as failure or wrong choices or we can realize they are just learning experiences that show us the way.

Life is full of challenges, unexpected events, sudden changes, as well as new opportunities we wouldn’t find if we hadn’t had to go a different way.

Exploring all the nooks and crannies, hidden alcoves, and dead end paths is the reason for existing, moving, and living. It doesn’t matter where you start or how you get there or even where you end up exactly. Simply be. Enjoy. Breathe. Some believe there is a purpose, meaning, or call to where we are growing.

Think of your life as a maze and have fun down every path you turn
