Thrift Store Finds

My friend and I went thrift store shopping the other day. I love wondering thrift stores and antique stores looking for the item that will make me smile.

It is an art to look through most thrift stores and antique shops as they are often crowed with other people’s discards. But if you keep an eye out something will magic draw you to it.

I think there is an energy to things that hold a secret magic in them. If you are open to receive it you may just discover something that will either reawaken a part of yourself or will bring a piece of your heart alive with excitement.

Or it just might be something simple and practical that will make life easier or prettier for you, even if it is just a shirt that makes an outfit stand out.

Try on some clothes and bring back memories or create a fantasy life. Thrift stores allow you to dare and try new styles, different fashions or even have something you would never spend the money on.

Experiment with different colors you would never wear or a style that you don’t like. It allows you to expand your style or try out a different style without going over your budget. Mix and match styles and create your own unique style!

I have bought several beautiful gowns for special occasions that I will probably never have the need to wear again but I could go all out with a gorgeous gown because I bought it for a bargain price.

It is an art with a little magic thrown in to find the gem hidden within the thrift shop. Truth is you never know what you will find.

And even if you come home with nothing, you had a day of wondering aimlessly looking for nothing in particular.
