Your Dreams are Important-Dream Big

Your Dreams are Important

Once upon a time you believed in Dreams. You believed that your dreams could come true.

Then life and the adults in your life told you your dreams were not practical. You began to reconstruct your dreams into something that could actually become more of a reality. So you altered them or abandoned them.

What were some of those childhood dreams? Do you wish any of them were true in your life now? Is there one you wish to resurrect? What can you do to begin to dream that dream again?

For a long time I wouldn’t let myself dream. I didn’t believe I could have any dreams anymore. When I was at The Christine Center on a volunteer retreat after my children had flow the nest, Sister Henrita kept telling me to “Dream Big”

Do you allow yourself to dream? Do you daydream?

I had no idea how to dream again. But Sister Henrita kept encouraging me, and finally I began allowing myself to dream-small dreams. But Sister Henrita kept repeating over and over again, “Dream Big”

Give yourself permission to call forth your deepest dreams. What dreams are lurking deep within you? Trust your heart. Trust your inner guidance.

If you could take a year off from work and still get paid-what would you do? Where would you go? Who would you spend your time with? What changes can you make in your real life so it would most resemble your fantasy?

Give your imagination free reign. Open up to the possibility of creating or being more than you ever dreamed possible.

Age have nothing to do with dreaming. Dream it. Let your imagination run wild. Let it be crazy! Let it be impractical and ridiculous!

Imagine what you want- Go ahead. Become excited about life. Dare to Dream without Limitations
