Tranquility

Be still, enjoy your solitude, indulging in much needed self-care.

Tranquility is a state of peace and calm. In your hectic busy life you need to take time out to be still, to still the mind.

You can relax at home and rest. You can sit in the backyard or find a quiet place near a stream or in a forest or park.

Find any place where you will not be disturbed. Where it is quiet. Where there is not drama or hectic scenes going on.

What you want to create is a space of inner and outer calm and serenity.

Find a place of outer tranquility where you can be in solitude, without distractions. Then be still and still the mind to create inner peace.

Once you learn how to find and create inner peace and calm, then you can learn to take a few moments to create it even within your busy day, even in the craziest moments.

Make time for some peace and calm moments throughout your day.

  • Take a nap
  • Read
  • Have a cup of tea
  • Listen to music (soothing music)
  • Be near water, sit by a stream, take a walk on the beach, canoe or kayak
  • Do some yoga
  • Take a bath or a long shower
  • Do something creative
  • Meditate
  • Enjoy an ice cream or your favorite snack

 

You can create tranquility anytime you need it.

You home should also contain a space that provides you with tranquility. Your home is the foundation of your life. Here you spend time to rest and recharge.
