Your health and well-being consists of your physical health, your mental health, your emotional health, and your spiritual health. All of these make up your overall health.

How would you rate your overall health?

How does your health affect your life?

What would you do to improve your overall health and well-being?

Though there are basic health standards to consider, you as an individual have your own needs to live a healthy life that allows you to live and feel your best.

It is for you to choose and decide which areas of your health and well-being are supporting you in living your life and which areas you may need to upgrade to enhance your well-being.

Are you taking time to care for yourself physically, mentally, emotional and spiritual? What about other areas of your life that affect your overall well-being?

Be honest with yourself. Go over the areas of your health and well-being.

How is your physical health?

How do you feel about your mental health?

How do you feel about your emotional well-being?

How satisfied are you with your level of health and well-being in each area?

Make a list of what feels good and where you are doing well and an area that you wish you were doing better in.

 Are you taking time to get some exercise, eat right, and drink enough water?

Are you generally in a good mood?

Do your daily habits enhance your health or limit it?

Are you managing stress in your life? How are you managing stress in your life?

When it comes to health and well-being you should also consider other areas including social well-being, financial well-being, and your overall life satisfaction.

How is your social well-being? Your financial well-being? Your work well-being? Your intellectual well-being?

 Is there one are you focus on more? Is there one area you ignore?

Is there one area that you wish you could spend more time taking care of? What can you do to improve that area today?

Your overall health and well-being is important to handling stress, your daily responsibilities, as well as working towards your dreams and aspirations.

What is your health and well-being vision? Write it out.

Make a health and well-being plan. Then break it down into small steps on how to move forward. Make it fun, make it a ritual in your day, make it something to look forward to or simple make it part of your daily routine.

It is hard to take action especially if you feel like you have been neglecting your health. But any step, any action is positive. When you feel better just by taking one step it will propel you forward, encouraging you into the next step.

The better you feel the more energy and excitement you will have for your life and moving forward with your dreams.
