Peace and Calm

 

Rushing frantic through our days, business, confusion, chaos, bring stress and anxiety. Our minds are unsettled, worried, frustrated, distressed, uneasy, racing, and overloaded with thoughts.

We would like nothing better than to have some serenity, quiet, peace, calm.

You can find peace-peace of mind in your hectic busy life. It comes from the inside rather than the outside. And once you have peace of mind you can move to having some semblance of outer calm.

Being present is the key. The Present Moment is the Access Point to Peace and Calm.

If you are constantly thinking in the past you are full of regrets, if you are jumping into the future you are full of worry and anxiousness. Being in the present moment you can use information from the past to make a decision in the moment to move towards the future you desire.

When you find yourself in the storm of worry, anxiety or just stressed and rushed needing a moment if peace, all you have to do is to remember to stop breathe and become present.

Slow down and do one thing at a time. Practice all the tools you have been learning this month.

Inner peace is freeing your mind from worry, fear and all your negative thoughts. It is a state where you mind is quiet and serene. Finding inner peace will lead to creating peace in your life.

To cultivate inner peace:

  • Accept what is
  • Focus on what you can control in this moment
  • Practice non-judgment
  • Use mindfulness tools and breathing exercises to still your mind and body
  • Step outside – take a walk
  • Slow down don’t rush your self
  • Be in the present moment
  • Appreciate was is – Be grateful
