For me my simple pleasures include my first sip of tea in the morning. I savor it. Looking out at the ocean and watching the sun rise. Meeting a friend for a drink in the afternoon. And a small piece of chocolate before I fall asleep.

Simple pleasures are important. They evoke feelings of happiness, peace, and contentment. They are important in helping us reach our goals and accomplish things we just need to get done.
Indulge in some delicious chocolate or your favorite food. Savor that first cup of coffee or tea in the morning. Be in awe of the sunrise and/or sunset. Read a good book. Cuddle under the covers. Listen to the rain on the roof. Walk the beach or park or forest. Jump in a puddle. Eat an ice cream cone. Smell something cooking in the oven. Take a nap. Wear your favorite sweater. Have a conversation with a friend
Make a list of at least 10 simple pleasures you enjoy. Then put them on your calendar. Better yet make sure you scatter them through your day.
Simple Pleasures bring small moments of happiness but those small moments add up to extraordinary happiness.
